Grab a cocktail shaker and shake it up! This classic Italian iced espresso recipe is a delicious, sweet, creamy drink that’s topped off with a fluffly layer of foam.

SWEET CREAM SYRUP INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz half and half (or whole milk)

SHAKERATO INGREDIENTS

    oz brewed Starbucks® Pike Place® Roast ground coffee, chilled (we recommend using the traditional drip method)
  • 0.5
    Tbsp simple syrup
  • Sweet cream syrup (recipe above)

HOW TO MAKE

Sweet Cream Syrup

STEP 01

In a medium saucepan, add sweetened condensed milk and half and half (or whole milk). Over low heat, stir frequently for 5–10 minutes.

Cool completely and keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

STEP 01

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add chilled co­ffee and simple syrup.

STEP 02

Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds until coffee becomes foamy. Strain into a glass. Top with coffee foam from shaker.

STEP 03

Add sweet cream syrup to taste.

SERVE AND ENJOY
