BLUEBERRY COMPOTE

  • 1
    cup
    of blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 0.25
    tsp
    honey
  • 0.5
    tsp
    vanilla extract

  • Small saucepan
  • Blender
  • Frother

HOW TO MAKE

Blueberry Compote

  • 01

    Combine the blueberries, honey and vanilla in a small saucepan.​

  • 02

    Heat over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes, until blueberries have broken down. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  • 03

    Blend blueberry mixture in a high-speed or immersion blender until smooth.​

    • Enjoy once cooled or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Blueberry Swirl Iced Coffee​

  • 01

    Brew your coffee and allow it to cool. ​

  • 02

    Pour the blueberry compote in a 16 oz glass, sprinkle with desired amount of sugar and top with ice.​

  • 03

    Froth milk to create cold foam using an aerator or handheld frother. ​

  • 04

    Gently pour the cold foam into glass on top of the blueberry compote. ​

  • 05

    Fill your glass with cooled Starbucks® Spring Day Blend​. Enjoy. ​

TIPS

Depending on desired sweetness, you can add more or less blueberry compote.
