Iced Coffee Sphere​

Grab your favorite Starbucks® roast and get cracking! Iced coffee spheres allow you to enjoy an iced beverage that's as delicious as it is fun to make.

    Starbucks® iced coffee
  • 4
    Tbsp
    half and half
  • 2
    Tbsp
    Brown Sugar Cinnamon Simple Syrup
  • Turbinado sugar
  • Water

TOOLS

  • Metal straw or syringe with metal tip
  • Sphere ice mold

HOW TO MAKE

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

  • 01

    Combine brown sugar, white sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.​

  • 02

    Reduce heat once sugar is melted.​

  • 03

    Add cinnamon sticks and simmer for 5 minutes.​

  • 04

    Let cool. Syrup can be stored refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. ​

How to Make

Iced Coffee Sphere

  • 01

    Fill ice sphere mold to fill line with water.

  • 02

    Freeze for 2–3 hours (aiming for ¼-inch thick ice layer).

  • 03

    Remove sphere from mold. Empty spheres can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

  • 04

    Warm a metal straw with hot water and puncture the iced sphere.

  • 05

    Using the straw, fill empty ice sphere with cold brew.​

  • 06

    Place half and half in bottom of glass.​

  • 07

    Place filled ice sphere into glass.​

  • 08

    Drizzle with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Simple Syrup.​

  • 09

    Sprinkle lightly with turbinado sugar.

  • 10

    Crack open ice sphere.
