WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Crisp Batter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, diced
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup oats
Berry Basil
- 1 pt strawberries
- 1 oz basil
- 1 pt blueberries
- 1 pt blackberries
- 1 pt raspberries
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 oz olive oil

How to Make Fruit Crisp
STEP ONE
Clean and cut strawberries to match size of berries.
STEP TWO
Clean basil - remove leaves and tear by hand into small strips.
STEP THREE
Mix all ingredients together.
STEP FOUR
Place in the baking pan.
STEP FIVE
Combine flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt.
STEP SIX
Dice cold butter.
STEP SEVEN
Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and mix on low until medium crumb.
STEP EIGHT
Add oats and mix until just combined.
STEP NINE
Lightly grease a baking pan and fill ⅔ of the way with desired fruits.
STEP TEN
Loosely top your favorite filling with the crisp batter and bake at 325°F until golden brown (about 30 minutes). Rotate half-way.
