CARAMELIZED HONEY LATTE

Superbly sweet. Delightfully creamy. The perfect drink to brighten any winter day. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 1 - 2 oz of espresso (we used Caffè Verona®)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 cups unsweetened milk

How to Make Caramelized Honey Latte

STEP ONE

Place the honey, water, and lemon juice in a small pan and bring to a steady simmer on medium heat while stirring.

STEP TWO

Once the honey mixture begins to bubble, stop stirring let the honey sit for 1-2 minutes until it deepens in color and releases a nutty aroma. -That’s how you know it is caramelized.

STEP THREE

Slowly pour and whisk in the milk until combined. Take off the heat.

STEP FOUR

Combine 8oz of the caramelized honey milk and espresso into your favorite cup.

STEP FIVE

Whisk additional milk for a foamy finish, top with a drizzle of honey, and enjoy!
