Brighten your brew with lemonade and a splash of sparkling water. It may seem an unlikely combination, but adding lemonade to your homemade iced coffee creates a bold, tangy and delicious drink. Think of it as an Arnold Palmer, with strong coffee instead of black tea.
INGREDIENTS
HOMEMADE LEMONADE

1.5cupsgranulated sugar

1cupfiltered water

0.25cupfresh-squeezed lemon juice
ICED COFFEE LEMONADE

0.5cuplemonade (either ready-made or use our recipe below)

1cupdouble-strength coffee

Splash of sparkling water

HOW TO MAKE
Homemade Lemonade

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Stir over medium heat for 5 minutes until sugar has dissolved into a simple syrup.
02Remove from heat and let cool completely.
03Juice lemons.
04Stir together remaining water, simple syrup and lemon juice.
Iced Coffee Lemonade

Fill a glass with ice.
02Prepare double-strength coffee in your preferred method. For optimal taste, we recommend using the coffee press method.
- For double-strength coffee, double the amount of coffee grounds per serving. That is, if making one 6-oz cup of coffee, use 4 scoops of ground coffee instead of 2.
03Mix together lemonade and coffee, leaving room to customize to taste. We recommend 1 part coffee to 1 part lemonade.
04Add a splash of sparkling water.
