HOW TO MAKE

Pomegranate Sparkling Coffee

  • 01

Brew coffee. Place in the refrigerator (or freezer) to chill.

  • 02

Pour vanilla syrup onto a shallow plate. On a separate plate, pour decorating or coarse sugar. Rim a 16-oz glass in sugar by dampening the rim with vanilla syrup and then dipping the glass into sugar.

  • 03

Place pomegranate seeds in the bottom of the rimmed glass. Muddle to release juices. Stir in vanilla syrup.

    • If using pomegranate juice, simply add to glass with vanilla syrup. Stir to combine.
  • 04

Fill the glass 1/2 full of crushed ice.

  • 05

Add a layer of lemon-lime soda until the glass is 2/3 full.

    • If using pomegranate juice, top with less lemon-lime soda—about 3 Tbsp.
  • 06

Top with chilled coffee. Garnish with rosemary if desired.
