Spring is the sweetest season of all—and this recipe makes it that much sweeter. Craft your spring refresh with an iced glass of Starbucks® Vanilla Lavender Flavored Coffee with a decadent layer of homemade vanilla lavender oatmilk cold foam.
Pour turbinado sugar onto a shallow plate. On a separate plate, pour water. Rim a 16-oz glass in sugar by dampening the rim with water and then dipping the glass into sugar.
Brew coffee at double strength. Set aside to cool.
Add vanilla and lavender syrups to oatmilk. Froth together using your preferred cold method.
Fill the rimmed glass 1/2 full of ice. Add coffee.
Top with frothed vanilla lavender oatmilk cold foam.
To make a homemade vanilla lavender syrup, combine 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the syrup from heat and add 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tsp vanilla extract) and 1 Tbsp of food-grade lavender flowers. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse. Strain through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
