EGGNOG LATTE TRUFFLES

A delicious spin on this holiday classic

Follow the simple recipe below to make tasty eggnog truffles that pair perfectly with a hot cup of Veranda Blend®.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 1/3 cup eggnog
  • 2 cups white chocolate (about 1 bag)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground Veranda Blend coffee
  • White chocolate + sprinkles for garnish

How to Make

STEP ONE

Warm eggnog and add Veranda Blend grounds until it combines into a creamy cup. Then, add in white chocolate, nutmeg and butter for an extra festive flavor and heat on lowest setting.

STEP TWO

Stir constantly until completely melted, and transfer to a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the mixture is cooled and solid.

STEP THREE

Once cooled, scoop into tablespoon-sized balls and roll. Once all of your truffles are rolled, return to the freezer.

STEP FOUR

Melt chocolate in a pot and coat truffles completely. Cover with sprinkles or a dash of nutmeg and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

STEP FIVE

When the shells have hardened, they’re ready to eat! These sweet treats pair perfectly with the mellow notes of a cup of Veranda Blend.
