Cold Brew With Salted Honey Foam

In this refreshing twist on cold brew, the sweetness of homemade honey syrup combines with a pinch of savory salt for a uniquely delicious coffee that still feels distinctly Starbucks.

    skim milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1.5
    Tbsp
    Honey Syrup
  • 4

    water
  • Pinch of salt

HOW TO MAKE

Honey Syrup

  • 01

    Combine honey and water in a small pot on the stove over medium heat until lightly simmering.

    Let simmer for 5–7 minutes while stirring occasionally.

  • 03

    Remove from heat, and let cool for 20–30 minutes.

    • You can store your honey syrup in the fridge for up to 7 days.

HOW TO MAKE

Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew Coffee

  • 01

    Add skim milk, Honey Syrup and a pinch of salt to a milk frother.

  • 02

    Using the frother’s cold froth setting, froth the mixture for 2 minutes until thick and creamy.

    • You can also use a handheld milk frother or froth your milk by hand. For more information on how to froth your milk, see our frothing guide here.

    Pour 4 oz of Starbucks® Multi-Serve Cold Brew Concentrate into a glass over ice, combine with 4 oz of water and stir.

    Stir in the remaining Honey Syrup. 

    • If you like a sweeter coffee, feel free to add in an extra splash of honey syrup. If you prefer unsweetened cold brew, feel free to leave it out.
  • 05

    Pour or spoon the salted cream cold foam over top!

    • Using an alternative milk (nutmilk, oatmilk, coconutmilk, etc.) may work, so long as you use a brand that you know froths well (e.g., “barista blend” style milks).
