ABOUT THIS GUIDE
Using a simple Mason jar, you can easily make your own homemade cold brew—the perfect refreshment for warmer days.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
WATER-TO-COFFEE RATIO
Add the coarse ground coffee
Use 4 Tbsp (22 g) of coffee for each cup (6 fl oz, 180 ml).
Add water into the jar
Carefully pour water into the jar, then give the grounds a swirl to thoroughly wet them.
Cover the jar
Cover the Mason jar with a cheesecloth and secure it with a rubber band.
Let the coffee steep
Leave your coffee for 12 hours. Enjoy waking up to a perfectly concentrated brew.
Separate the coffee from the grounds
Strain the coffee into a pitcher by pouring it through a cheesecloth.
Add water, ice & you’re good to go
Pour one part concentrate with one part water into a glass with fresh ice, and enjoy your coffee at home!
Adjust the flavor of your cup to your preferred taste by adding more or less water. Give your cold brew a twist by serving it with a touch of cream, coconutmilk or seltzer.
Have some brew left over? Freeze it into ice cubes for a ready-made treat on a hot day.
