Ethical Sourcing Statement
It’s one of our most important brand promises–ensuring our coffee meets economic, social and environmental sourcing standards.
Roast Designation
From color to visual range, this area tells you where the coffee falls on our roast spectrum, so it's easy to find your favorite. Starbucks® Veranda Blend® Coffee, for example, is our lightest roast, making it smooth and approachable.

Whole bean or ground coffee, this icon will help you find the format that’s best for you.
Roast Color Band
This colored band that stretches across the middle of the pack serves as a quick way to understand the coffee’s roast level. Blonde roasts are yellow, medium roasts are brown, and dark roasts are purple. For more details about the roast styles, check out the side of the pack or click here.
Tasting Notes
Consult this section to discover the delicious flavorful notes you’ll encounter when you brew this coffee.
Pack Art
One of the most interesting features is the unique artwork for each pack. Look closely, and you'll discover odes to each coffee's origins. For example:

-Starbucks® Veranda Blend® Coffee: A tribute to our farmers and the verandas where we’ve shared many cups of coffee together.
-Starbucks® Pike Place® Roast Coffee: Representing our original storefront in Seattle's Pike Place Market, where it was crafted.
-Starbucks® Caffè Verona® Coffee: A romantic selection of roses in honor of the coffee's namesake, Verona, Italy–the city of love.
-Starbucks® Sumatra Coffee: Spotlighting the Sumatran tiger who calls only this island home—as single origin as the coffee itself.
-Starbucks® Morning Joe Coffee: Featuring Chicago's vibrant lights and skyscrapers in recognition of its original purpose: to stand up to those infamously bitter winters.

The next time you find yourself in the coffee aisle, we hope you discover your new favorite quickly and easily. While you're here, check out our new Coffee Quiz to find the one that's made to be yours in only five questions.
