Nothing melts away the chills like piping hot coffee and a shot of Irish whiskey—preferably mixed together with a bit of brown sugar and topped with a heaping scoop of whipped cream. Here’s how to whip up this cold-weather favorite for a few lucky friends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 - 8 oz Irish whiskey
  • 4 cups brewed coffee (try Starbucks® Sumatra)
  • Whipped cream (for homemade whipped cream, 1 cup heavy whipping cream + 1 Tbsp sugar) pinch of nutmeg

How to Make Irish Coffee

STEP ONE

Stir brown sugar, whiskey, and coffee together in a tall glass.

STEP TWO

Top with a scoop (or two) of whipped cream.

STEP THREE

Finish it off with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

STEP FOUR

Serve and enjoy.
