How To Flash Brew: A New Way To Make Iced Coffee
Flash Brewing is a way to make iced coffee in which the coffee is brewed directly onto ice. This both cools and dilutes the coffee, allowing it to retain its flavor and strength. This means you get to enjoy a delicious and easy cup of iced coffee faster than ever before.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED - INGREDIENTS
300 grams ice
40 grams of medium-fine Starbucks® Breakfast Blend
300 grams hot water
WHAT YOU'LL NEED - TOOLS
Chemex
Coffee filter
Kitchen Scale
Gooseneck kettle (optional)
Coffee grinder (if using whole bean coffee)

Fill your Chemex with 300 grams of ice.

STEP TWO
Put a coffee filter into your Chemex and scoop 40 grams of Starbucks® Breakfast Blend into it.

STEP THREE
Boil 300 grams of water and pour onto coffee, starting in the middle then slowly working your way out. Pouring slowly while trying to wet all the grinds is key.

STEP FOUR
Let the coffee brew.
STEP FIVE
Once the water all makes its way through the grounds and melts the ice, your coffee is all brewed! Now all you have to do is pour it into the glass of your choice and enjoy.
