But instead of the egg cream’s milk and chocolate syrup, this cold brew tonic recipe features smooth, bold coffee and orange cardamom simple syrup. WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Starbucks® Cold Brew Coffee Multi-Serve Concentrate
- Ice
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp crushed cardamom
- Zest of 1 small orange

How to Make Cold Brew Orange Tonic

STEP ONE
Make cold brew by pouring filtered water over two Starbucks® Cold Brew Coffee Pitcher Packs.

STEP TWO
Let steep for 24 hours.

STEP THREE
Remove Pitcher Packs and add water.

STEP FOUR
Make the orange cardamom simple syrup by combining water, juice, sugar, cardamom and orange zest in saucepan.

STEP FIVE
Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar, then let cool.

STEP SIX
Strain out cardamom and orange zest.

STEP SEVEN
To make the cold brew tonic, fill a tall glass with ice.

STEP EIGHT
Pour in simple syrup, then add cold brew and tonic water.

STEP NINE
Stir and garnish with an orange slice.

STEP TEN
Serve and enjoy.
